Top 5 FAQs about Tip Top Dogs In-Person Classes
1. Where are the classes held?
Most in person classes are held at Tip Top Dogs in Mack, CO. There are some classes, such as Out and About and Rally that are held at a different place each week so that our dogs can learn to train in new places and generalize behaviors.
2. How long are the classes?
Most classes are 6 weeks long, for about an hour per class. Some classes are drop in, and they are ongoing each week.
3. How do you train?
I use positive reinforcement, games, platforms, foot targets and props to train.
4. Are your classes fun or serious?
Although I have high expectations of my dogs performance and precision, I train in a way that is fun for both the dog and the handler. The speed and precision is very easy to obtain in a fun way!
5. Is my dog right for your classes?
Although most dogs will do well in my classes, there are some dogs that would need to have private lessons first to be able to excel in a group setting. I am always more than happy to help you decide which class is the best for you and your dog.

You don't need to buy any fancy equipment, you can use things around the house!.
2. My dog won't benefit.
Even pet dogs can benefit from a fitness routine!

Your dog's fitness plan will be customized to you and your dogs needs, and can be made to fit your schedule.
4. My dog isn't trained well enough.
You do not need any previous training. You will learn how to teach your dog to perform the exercises.
5. My dog isn't fat, so he/she doesn't need a fitness plan.

Top 5 FAQs about Rally
1. How do I start Rally?
I have certain criteria I expect from my dog before I begin training for Rally. These include focus, engagement, and rear end awareness. I then move on to training the signs.
2. Do I need a lot of equipment?
I train with platforms, front foot targets, and other props. Most can either be made at home or in some cases you can use something you already have or can purchase for fairly cheap.
3. My dog has already learned the signs. Would this class still be good for us?
Yes!! I teach the dogs to move their bodies in a way that the signs are effortless and fun. They learn what is expected and how to properly do it so that there is no begging your dogs to perform.
4. How old does my dog need to be to begin?
I begin teaching my dogs many of these movements as young as 3 months. They catch on much quicker at an early age.
5. How long will I need to train my dog each day?
I keep my sessions short, around 15 minutes a day.
